About Me

BIO

Jade is a British artist and fashion designer. She has always been interested in art from as early as her childhood. She would spend hours drawing and colouring and entered art competitions successfully winning many. It was only natural for Jade to follow in her family’s creative side with her great great grandfather William Jessop being one of Britain’s leading engineers in the 1790’s particularly famed for his work on canals, harbours and early railways and his portrait can be found in the national portrait gallery. Her grandmother was a great artist successfully exhibiting and being commissioned on many paintings.

During her college years Jade started to successfully sell her paintings in high end interior design boutiques which gave her a taste of the art world. She then went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Design, Media and Management degree. Always creating she found a passion for fashion which led her to become the successful designer that she is today, creating the womenswear brand Honor Gold that is stocked throughout the UK, Europe and America.

Jade has always loved painting and now feels that the time is right to bring her love of art and fashion together. This is reflected in her figurative and abstract pieces “Her aim is to express the female forme which is always the starting point of her fashion collections and abstract is the inspiration of colours and feelings that go into creating her designs”

She brings an extensive mastery through the use of acrylics and oils using vibrant colours which creates pieces that have unpredictable movement bringing optical illusions with bursts of relentless energetic expression. She also loves to use gold leaf in many of her pieces which is a signature of her fashion brand “Honor Gold” that brings a luxurious look to her creations.

Jade is experienced in handling large scale interior projects and has an understanding of how art can transform a room. Artwork enables you to imprint your home with a personal touch and can be seen as a great investment. She has already made an impact on the art world having already painted numerous commissions that hang in people’s homes worldwide.
